How does coaching differ from mentoring?

Coaching is a process that helps you understand yourself better, organise your thoughts and find your own ways of doing things, to meet your needs and values. In life coaching and ADHD coaching, I don’t give you ready-made solutions. Through conversation and carefully chosen questions, I support you in developing effective strategies, achieving your goals and making the most of your own resources. I believe you have more answers within you than you might realise – my role as a life coach is to help you discover them.

Mentoring is a form of support based on sharing experience, knowledge and practical advice. As a mentor, I contribute my perspective and tried-and-tested solutions (e.g. in business, career development or process design), while leaving you with full decision-making authority. This allows you to benefit from my experience, find your own path more quickly and avoid some of the pitfalls that might lie in your path.

I create a safe space where complete confidentiality, acceptance and finding solutions that suit your unique way of thinking are the top priorities.
